Consistency

For some bizarre reason (nostalgia) I paged back to my very first set of posts (in 2003) and found that the tone of my second ever post ties in rather well with the comments discussion on the wine of a few days ago.

Glad that I've maintained some consistency over the years.

Interesting how much the style and tone of your posts have changed since then, even if your tastes haven't :)

By the by, since your post, "You can call me Al" has been flying around my head - this morning replaced, somewhat bizarrely, by the ditty from the new Nando's radio ad (Whatsh your flavour? Nandosh flavour flavour")

so it's gone from "get these mutts away from me" to "gimme some hot spicy chicken"? weird how minds work.

Wit - you've been blogging since 2003? I'm impressed. Blogging only really started gathering steam in 2004/5.

If you don't mind me asking, are you in your 30s?

ATW - today I'm happily relieved of all mutts and chicken. What ditty will colonise next, I wonder?

Peas - good point. ATW, most of us never heard about blogs back then, are you extremely tech savvy?

OK , I did start blogging very briefly in 2003 when the first blog hype started. Everything then went through the great-granddady of bloggers, one Glenn Reynolds on instapundit.com.

But then took a rather long hiatus from blogging.

Peas, you're making me nervous, knowing that you're after an older man and all that. But no, don't mind you asking as I'm pretty comfortable in my 30ish skin.

Not that tech savvy - just damned curious and like figuring & finding & trying things out.

Ant, my headspin ditty has moved onto the Gnarls Barkley "Crazy"....

atw, would it be so bad if peas were after your 30-something skin? She's a keeper! (nuts, yes, but in a very good way...)

today the voices in my head are singing "set adrift on a memory bliss" by pm dawn.

Tooshay Ant, tooshay.

But don't worry Wit, I'm not out on the prowl like you may think. ;)

Peas, "not on the prowl", that just isn't the Peas that I know..

"Not on the prowl after ATW ".. fair enough, I understand that.

No it wouldn't be bad at all Ant, but just would have to deal with Mrs Wit, whose also nuts & a keeper & got to me first (or vice versa).

But, Ant, I must say after the Warhol foreground on your post of today, well... I just don't know what to say. Floored me I guess.
